About Me & My Philosophy Towards Healing
I feel it’s important that there be a good fit between therapist and client, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn about me and my philosophy.
I have a deep love, respect and affinity for our planet and all of its vitality. I especially enjoy the water and spending time in the rivers, lakes, and oceans. As someone who holds so much fire energy within me, I feel throughout my life I have always been drawn to the water to create balance within.
So naturally, I became a certified river guide as a young adult. This experience was formative for me, it expanded my sense of how much I could accomplish and I gained a huge respect for nature. I learned how powerful, exhilarating, humbling and healing our waters are for us. It helped me recognized my inner strength and that true power comes from working with nature and the flow of life instead of against it. My experiences made me stronger and wiser.
After a season as a guide on the river my skin endured the potent elements of the sun, wind, heat, cold and high altitude .I was gifted a facial from a dear friend. At that time I learned of the importance of a daily skin regimen using plant based, non toxic skincare products I lived in Denver working full-time as a licensed skin therapist. I had amazing opportunities working in aday spa to learn and provide specialty performance plant based skin and body treatments for a beautiful spa, wo. a I believe in the importance of practicing accumulative healthy lifestyle habits, especially in the elements beginning with our breath, internal/external hydration, nourishment and healthy stimulation.
I live in old town Fort Collins with my husband and our two daughters. Some of my favorite things to do is to spend time outdoors with my family
I moved to Fort Collins in 2010 after spending three years living “off-the-grid” in a small agricultural community in southern Colorado.
Thank you for taking a moment to learn about me and my philosophy towards heali
